ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY Official Teaser Trailer – YouTube

A teaser trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has been released and oh my, it’s wonderful. Some things I noted:

• When the Star Destroyer cruised by in space I thought a wipe transition was happening behind behind it, but the reveal was awesome!
• Very well casted Mon Motha, internet users say she’s from the prequels
• What appears to be a female lead again–neat!
• NORMAL X-WING!
• A run through what appears to be a subway. When I first saw it I thought I was in a BART/MUNI station
• We see a vibroblade/katana type weapon or quarterstaff
  • Negative points for Donnie Yen needing to appear stylistically Asian
• Non-white characters with speaking roles!
• Running Away from AT-AT’s! Scary!
• Scary bad guy!
